Sheela Suthar
At the heart of the label stands Sheela Suthar, a visionary fashion designer whose creations seamlessly blend heritage, luxury, and contemporary elegance.8
Born into a Marwari family, Sheela was nurtured by the vibrant art and culture of Rajasthan, which sparked her lifelong love for design. From an early age, her innate creativity and artistic spirit set her apart, with achievements in art and design paving the way toward her true calling.
Her professional journey began at just 19, when she started designing custom ensembles and freelance projects for a discerning clientele. After completing her B.Sc. in Fashion & Technology, Sheela went on to gain invaluable experience with India’s most celebrated fashion houses, including Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Neeta Lulla, and Neha Agarwal. These experiences refined her design sensibility and introduced her to the nuances of luxury couture.
Guided by passion and precision, Sheela launched her eponymous label, Sheela Suthar Pret | Couture, with a vision to revive Indian heritage through a modern lens. Her brand is renowned for its sophisticated silhouettes, intricate embroideries, and timeless couture artistry, offering women designs that exude confidence, grace, and exclusivity.
